County Council Meeting

Closures In Observance of Thanksgiving Holiday
County offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th. The Landfill and Recycling Centers will be closed on Thursday, November 26th.
County Council 2009 Revised Meeting Calendar
Darlington County Council meetings scheduled for November 2nd and December 21st have been canceled.
Basketball Resgistration
Nov. 2nd thru Nov. 30th at the Recreation Dept., 300 Sanders Street, Darlington. $20 Registration Fee. Copy of Birth Certificate Required.
2010 Census - It's In Our Hands
Census questionnaires will be mailed in March 2010. Be sure to complete and submit your census form. Census data are used to allocate billions of dollars in government funding, guide where to build roads, schools, job training centers, determine how many seats each state will have in Congress, and impact redistricting of state and local districts. An incomplete count could mean your community does not receive its fair share of funding. The questionnaire contains only a few simple questions and takes just a few minutes to answer and return by mail. Achieving a complete and accurate Census is in our hands. Help keep our tax dollars in our county.
