The Recycling division functions as a component of Darlington County Environmental Services, providing citizens with a convenient means of recycling and solid waste disposal. Darlington County has 13 manned convenience centers throughout the county. Each center provides containers for recycling of newspaper, plastic, cardboard, yard waste, used oil, glass, scrap metal, aluminum can, steel cans, cooking oil, electronics and batteries.

STATION HOURS:

The following sites are open Mondays - Fridays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. & Saturdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
Station 3 - Old Ruby Site. 1218 Old Ruby Road, Hartsville
Station 5 - Bay Road Site. 1332 Bay Road, Hartsville
Station 8 - Smith Ave Site. 715 Phillips Street, Darlington
Station 12 - Lamar Site. 601 Bay Branch Road, Lamar

The following sites are open Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. & Saturdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
