Roads and Bridges

The mission of the Roads and Bridges Department is to properly maintain all roads, bridges, and drainage appurtenances in the County's inventory; prepare existing dirt roads for paving through the County Transportation Committee (CTC) and County funds; enforce standards of construction for new roads; fabricate and install all county road signs; install and repair all E-911 signs; provide 24-hour call workforce for emergencies; assist other divisions and departments with special projects; and assist the public and Emergency Preparedness during emergency operations.
