Using the raw data extracted from our internal budgeting system, this online tool allows users to explore revenues and expenditures simply by clicking through interactive charts. For additional detailed information, residents can use the new Open Expenditures App to access a breakdown of departmental County transactions, County spending decisions, and more.

Budget Data Updates and Improvements
The County plans to update the budget data monthly, after County Council has officially approved the budget. The budget is constantly evolving throughout the year to accommodate changes in the organizational structure of the County, as well as new directions set by County Council. The current dataset represents the budget as it was initially approved by County Council earlier in 2015.
Open Expenditure data will become more intuitive with each new release.

The budget app should work well on both desktop and mobile browsers, using recent versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer (version 10 and above.)
