How long does an individual, who's property went through the Tax Sale, have to redeem their property back?
Any customer who's property went through our Tax Sale has 1 year and 1 day to redeem their property back. For instance, the Real Estate Tax Sale for 2014 took place on December 7, 2015. The last day to redeem property back is December 8, 2016.
Deeds are usually available to record 2 to 3 months after the redemption time is up. It really just depends on how long the individual typing up all the deeds takes and the deeds being looked over by the County Attorney. We get all the deeds back at one time.
