Uniform Division

Patrol Division
The patrol division is the first line responders to any emergency in Darlington County. This division is comprised of 32 deputies that live within the County. This division's primary goal is to respond to emergency call from crimes against persons, property, and society. Secondly, the division checks property, and third to apprehend persons that have committed crimes in Darlington County. The Lieutenant of this division provides direct supervision to each uniform deputy. She advises the Sergeants and Corporals of each shift of issues that need to be aware of on a day to day basis. Lt. Warrant Division
The Warrant Division has a different role at the Darlington County Sheriff's Office. This division primary goal is to serve warrants from various Courts. They also serve civil process papers, SRO Officers and work courtroom security. This division is staffed with 11 deputies and one is on call at all times. The Lieutenant of the division handles all the training for this office. He enforces all executions, evictions, and civil papers that are issued to this office.
